The Northern Inuit dog is a strong robust
animal of good nature, an all round companion and loving
sociable family dog with a stunning appearance that
resembles as closely as possible the wolf.
The accepted height for bitches is a minimum of
22 inches.
The accepted height for dogs is a minimum of 24
inches.
The coat is a dense double coat with longer on
ruff, heavier in winter months.
The gate is graceful and long reaching.
Ears should always be erect.
Eye colour is preferably Amber to Brown.
Tail carriage should always be held low, curly
tails are considered a fault.
Typical colours range from Greys to Cream, and
Grizzled Brown to Black.
